An overcast autumn day shrouded the city in shades of grey, and the wet asphalt reflected the dim light of the sky. On the roadside, near a cardboard box with their belongings, stood two young sisters whose lives had just been ruthlessly shattered. They had just been kicked out onto the street by the very people who had promised to become their real family.
The younger sister, wearing a dark green sweatshirt and grey sweatpants, was kneeling right on the damp ground. Tears mixed with raindrops on her cheeks, and a scream filled with unbearable pain and despair tore from her chest. Turning toward the porch of the house, she screamed loudly: “Why are you doing this to us?!”

Standing next to her was the older sister—barefoot, in a maroon t-shirt and dark shorts. She sobbed uncontrollably, hugging herself by the shoulders, trying to protect herself from the piercing cold and the injustice of this world. The girls were terrified; ahead of them lay only uncertainty and emptiness.
Meanwhile, on the porch of the house stood their foster parents, their faces distorted with rage. The elderly foster mother, wearing a light purple cardigan and patterned pajama pants, fiercely pointed her finger into the distance, driving the sisters away. Her mouth opened in an angry scream as she ruthlessly shouted after them: “This is no longer your home!”
The doors of the house slammed shut with a loud bang, leaving the girls alone with their grief and the encroaching twilight. The sisters pressed against each other, not knowing where to go or who to ask for help in a strange, indifferent city. Their clothes were quickly soaking through, and hope was fading with every passing minute.
Suddenly, the silence of the empty street was broken by the low, rumbling sound of an approaching engine. From around the corner, blindingly bright car headlights appeared, cutting through the wall of rain and illuminating the wet asphalt. A sleek black luxury car smoothly drove into the frame and stopped abruptly, with a hiss of brakes, right in front of the frozen sisters.
The girls’ crying instantly stopped, tears froze in their eyes, and their lips closed. Despair was instantly replaced by absolute shock and astonishment—they stared fearfully at the tinted windows of the luxury car, unable to understand who could have come for them at this dark hour.
The rear door of the car slowly opened, and an expensive men’s shoe stepped out onto the wet asphalt. A tall man in an elegant black coat stepped out of the vehicle. His commanding and confident appearance made the foster parents, who were watching from the window, press against the glass in fear.
The man walked up to the stunned sisters, and a warm, genuine smile suddenly appeared on his stern face. Without a word, he took off his dry coat and gently draped it over the shaking shoulders of the older sister, then extended his hand to the younger one, helping her up from her knees.
“You won’t have to cry or freeze on the street anymore,” he said softly but firmly, opening the door of the luxury car for them. The sisters, still in deep shock, looked at each other and obediently sat on the soft leather seats, feeling the cabin fill with long-awaited warmth.
Before getting behind the wheel, the man turned around and looked at the windows of the house, where the foster parents were hiding behind the curtains, pale with fear. In his cold gaze lay a promise that for every single tear these girls had shed, their former guardians would have to answer to the full extent of the law.

The black car smoothly pulled away and disappeared into the rain, carrying the sisters toward a completely new and different life. The girls did not yet know who this mysterious savior was, but they felt one thing for certain: their nightmare was finally over.
This man turned out to be the girls’ maternal uncle—the biological brother of their deceased mother. All these years, he had lived abroad running a large business, completely unaware of the tragic fate of his nieces because the child welfare services had hidden the information from him, quickly placing the children with a foster family for the sake of government benefits.
Upon learning the truth from a private detective he had hired to find the sisters, the man immediately flew to the city. He came to take the girls in, obtain official custody over them, and provide them with the love, care, and security they had been deprived of all these years.
